The day QLphoto grows up

I don't normally say anything sentimental and for those that know me know that. David has enough feelings for the both of us. So if you just want to skip to the images below, now is the time to do so.

I just wanted to take a step back and talk about how we met. David lives about 4 blocks from parents house and we went to the same schools together but never really acknowledged each other. It was early in my college years when I started taking photos that I met him through a going away party I think. He saw that my 5d classic and I think we had conversation about gear and shooting. I think that was the start QL.

Fast forward a year in or so and I showed him a lot of what I was doing with photos  and we grew as professionals. We wanted to start something serious and we moved forward creating QLphoto. We've done quite a bit of events together. Our styles compliment each other very well when we work together. He works very well with people and group shots and capturing candids and doing fashion type images. I focus more on intimate shoots with less people  so I can get to the know the people and mostly work on editorial types of images. We do share common interests in photography though, seeing people's reactions to our work, and shooting film. ​

He's gone along way from when I first met him. David is pursuing photography full time and improved so much since the first time he showed me his portfolio. I'm proud to call you my partner and my brother. Today is the day QLphoto grows up. Congratulations brother!
